Mitsutoshi Sugimoto (born June 30, 1975)

A contemporary artist, Botany Painting artist, and graphic designer from Tokyo.

Representative Director of Entre San Frappé Inc. Part-time lecturer at Shizuoka Institute of Science and Technology, Shizuoka Design College.

Design and Photography

Mr. Sugimoto handles a wide range of graphic design projects, primarily focusing on corporate philosophy, CI (Corporate Identity), and VI (Visual Identity) planning. He possesses advanced skills in photography, specializing in product shots and candid photography. As an educator, he passes on his design and photo development techniques to the next generation.

Creation of Botany Painting

In 2017, inspired by traditional crafts using lotus in Southeast Asia, he created "Botany Painting," a unique art form incorporating Japanese aesthetics. This technique involves coloring wooden panels and baskets using leaves from lotus, Indian bodhi, and monstera. He hosts workshops nationwide that even beginners can enjoy, and offers an art experience that can be enjoyed at home through correspondence courses.
